parent receiving a balance alert when no balance exists
The MBA Fee Plugin has it's own tables. The Balance Alert emails are including data from the CORE PowerSchool Fee tables, and NOT from our database extension tables that we use. It is important to keep those two sets of tables in sync. You can do this by running a Special Function. At your School, go to Special Functions>MBA Student Fees Functions>Update Fee Balance Table. This is always safe to run, and should be run if you have mass assessed School Fees or Course Fees. The screen will display the student balances from the Core Fee Balance table, showing the previous balance, and the new one it changed to based on the MBA Fee Plugin tables. If you use any online payment system, the online payments also do not get updated in the CORE Fee Balance table, so you may need to run this Update Balance Function weekly or daily, depending on the time of year.
