Course Fees for Next Year
In PowerSchool, each year has it's own set of fees associated with them. If you are needing to see a list of your current courses and what the fees are, we do have a report in System Reports>Course Fee List. This will show all of the 18-19 fees that are already set up at the Course Level. To create the new Course Fees for 19-20, you will need to change the term to 19-20, and in School>Courses set up on each course any fees needed for next year, as they do not "roll up". There is a PowerSource article, # 8294, that confirms this.
Your students cannot be assessed a Course Fee for 19-20 until they have schedules for 19-20 on the Live Side. If you use PowerScheduler, you would need to Commit the schedule so that it's on the Live side, then change the term to 19-20, and go to Special Functions>MBA Student Fees Functions>Assess Course Fees. But this will also only work if you have already set up each of the Course Fees in the 19-20 term.
If you need to assess Course Fees before running the End of Year Process, it will also only allow you to assess Course Fees for 19-20 for the current High School students. Any incoming Freshman will have to have those Course Fees assessed AFTER the EOY process, when they have moved to the High School.
